A child slot creates an actual existing renderer. It does not copy its view,
validation or JavaScript. children validates the edge at registration but does
not make it an eager uses dependency. Each rendered child emits its own normal
asset consumer; inactive children retain their normal lazy activation.
Select publishes its reusable configuration contract. A parent only declares the
slots it renders; it does not repeat Select’s options or factory:
Register the parent during provider boot. Configure each rendered instance with
data, PHP, or both:
pathTo() resolves a declared field slot and its stable key within the native
parent container, including a repeater row. It rejects undeclared slots. A
shareState slot returns ./, referring to the current container’s root. The
source field must synchronize its state, for example with live().
The built-in Select data contract accepts these options. Omitted non-nullable
options retain the actual renderer’s defaults; a nullable placeholder defaults
to null.
